Hey There
We are Jessie and Nate, a couple navigating the complexities of life's journey together. Our world forever changed on December 25th, 2023, when we welcomed our son, Matthew Roger, into this world. Although his time with us was brief, his impact on our lives is immeasurable.
Matthew was born still at 40 weeks and 4 days, leaving us with a profound sense of loss and grief. In the midst of our sorrow, we found solace in connecting with others who understood our journey through support groups for parents who have experienced similar losses.
Through these connections, we realized the lack of in-person support options for those grieving the loss of a child due to stillbirth in our area. Motivated by our own experiences and the desire to create a supportive community for others, we decided to take action.
Thus, we embarked on a mission to establish a support group tailored specifically for parents who have endured the pain of stillbirth. Our aim is to provide a safe and nurturing space where individuals can share their stories, find comfort in the company of others who understand, and navigate the complexities of grief together.
In founding this support group, we hope to honor Matthew's memory by fostering healing and connection within our community. While the journey of grief may be challenging, we believe that by walking together, we can find strength, resilience, and hope.
Thank you for joining us on this journey of remembrance, healing, and love.
With heartfelt gratitude, Jessie and Nate
